ARTIST BIO

I have worked with various mediums including pastels, water colour , and particularly oils.  I have also been trying new mediums in the form of resin paints, acrylics and alcohol inks, which lend themselves perfectly to abstract work. I have really enjoying painting pieces in fluid acrylics creating organinc and cell like structures.

Currently I am fascinated with Australian eucalyptus trees , flowers and seed pods , which are particularly beautiful.

I also like to paint close up images of flowers and fruits and I like the effect of shine and transparency and light, sun and shadows. I like bold colours and abstract shapes and forms, and the abstract flow of paint and the surprises it leads me to.

I also like to do smaller drawings and designs. A lot of my art and designs can be viewed on Instagram under @artplusart_inese.edwards

Also I have featured many of my  designs and art on products, clothing, wall art, home decor, and many more items in Redbubble.com  under user name,     IneseEdwardsArt

My work can also be found on Pinterest under Inese Edwards.

I have exhibited my paintings in many shows as listed with each painting description, and also  for many years at the Camberwell Art Show.
